Unîmes, the bet of excellence

“The University of Nîmes is a multidisciplinary university, without health degrees, with a professional vocation. But above all, it is a university that works for and with its students. Through the proximity and availability of its staff, its original pedagogical support, the personalized follow-up of students throughout their education, the University of Nîmes is extremely committed to the support and success of its students.

Unîmes has made leading its students to success a marker of its development and is recognized for this.

The university presents an academic offer that is constantly evolving from the Bachelor's degree (BAC+3) to the PhD (BAC+8) and in line with socio-economic needs, whether in initial training, professional training or work-study programs. Special attention is paid to the professionalization of our courses and to the opportunities that our students can benefit from in each of these courses. Nearly 90% of our students find a job within 30 months after graduation.

The university also excels in its research, particularly through its two original and distinctive areas of research: risk management and social design. These two topics are supported by multi and interdisciplinary projects, which are references both locally and nationally.

The University of Nîmes is a local university, located in the center of the city and participating fully in its development, especially thanks to the solid relationships it has established with all the local authorities and its local environment.

Finally, the university participates in the cultural and social development of its students. It supports them in their initiatives, encourages them to undertake, to participate in the life of the institution, to develop their personal projects, and to promote campus life.

We want our students to be actors and not consumers of their university life and we help them to do so.

Invest in the present, win the future is the adage of the University of Nîmes.”
