The University of Nîmes is developing a high quality research program, centered around two key areas: the study of risks and social design. It has forged numerous links with local and regional socio-economic actors, and beyond, which have made it a key player in the territorial dynamics of Occitanie. Beyond these two topics, research groups have developed projects in scientific fields or human and social sciences such as psychology, sociocriticism, mathematics, computer science, physics or situated creation. Events to promote research, such as colloquia and seminars, are organized on a regular basis.
