Vauban is a historic site with a modern outlook. Students are provided with all the latest tools for studying human and social sciences on a site close to the University's housing and food service facilities. For example, the library is top of the line: it provides access to an exceptional bibliographic data base and is the perfect environment for individual and group work, with access to the latest multimedia tools.

A modern scientific site (established in 1998) located in the heart of the city, where most of the science education is based. It offers a comprehensive range of tools for practical work in Physics, Chemistry, I.T. and Biology, plus a library and a cafeteria. Students work in close contact with the teaching team making possible a personal approach and an environment of exchange.  It provides a rich source of information for developing personal projects and identifying internships and company placements in France and abroad. In addition, the site is host to young scientists who are developing business projects in the Bio-engineering sector, thus providing a further guarantee of access to the most innovative tools available.

The GIS site is located in the heart of the Georges Besse Scientific Research Park, next to the main communication networks and a rich assortment of newly established scientific companies. In addition, it is next to the Alès-Nîmes Ecole des Mines and the cyclotron. Students are welcomed into a friendly atmosphere that offers high level and innovative training courses that are unique in France.  For example, the3D degree:  De-pollution, De-construction, Waste Management and Disposal, as well as, top-level research activities and ultramodern facilities (class-100 ‘clean room’, mass spectrometer for isotopic analysis...).
