Registration for a first year of bachelor’s degree

You live in France

You must withdraw from the nearest university, from the 1st of October before the start of the school year, an application for admission prior to an undergraduate registration in a French university.

This file can be downloaded from the Internet (green file) and can also be collected from a university.

It must be delivered to the university closest to your home before December 15.

You live in a country with a Campus France Space

You must submit your application in a Campus France Space, otherwise, the study visa will not be issued.

The candidate must open an account from the Campus France website of his country of residence and follow a paperless procedure that allows them to make training requests.

You live in a country with no Campus France Space

You must collect from the Cultural Service of the French Embassy in your country, from the month of October before the start of the school year, an application for admission prior to undergraduate registration at a French university.

This file can also be downloaded on the Internet (white file) and must be submitted to the embassy (or consulate) on the date indicated in December.

The cultural service of the Embassy of France will forward your file to the first chosen university. A letter will be sent to you before April 15 to let you know if your application has been accepted or not.

You take your baccalaureate in a French high school

Candidates now have to apply on parcoursup the same way as students who have taken their baccalaureate in France for registration in first year.

Registration for second and third years of bachelor’s degree, vocational degree or first and second years of master’s degree

Residents of countries with a Campus France Space

The candidate must create an account from the Campus France website of their country of residence and follow a paperless procedure that allows them to make courses requests.

Residents in France or nationals from countries without a Campus Space France

Applications for registration in 2nd or 3rd year of bachelor’s degree, vocational degree or master’s degree are done on eCandidat.

French Language Proficiency

As all lessons are taught in French at the University of Nîmes, a good knowledge of this language is required to consider a university course.

The level certificate for the French Knowledge Test (TCF) must therefore be included in all applications.

UNÎMES organizes an annual session of the TCF DAP. It takes place in mid-January.

Level B2 is required for an admission to the University of Nimes.
